“I Believe Nip Was Jesus.”
For some reasons every time I say something people get upset and really bent out of shape. I just be speaking my mind. The day of nips funeral. I saw so many videos of people saying amazing things about him and then I started listening to him talk in videos and I watched how he made people feel, He made peace amongst people in LA that normally ain’t on that, He also didn’t have The Biggest hit records but his presence was felt like Snoop, The Bible notes even his disciples didn't recognize him at first, suggesting a spiritual veil or their own limited perception prevented them from knowing him until he revealed himself,
I basically forgot about this but for some reason, it was brought back to life today on X a gentleman by the name of Curtiss King posted
On the day of Nipsey Hussle’s funeral, @jermainedupri tweeted:
“I believe Nip was Jesus.”
It sparked backlash from religious voices & believers.
I asked my mother, a Christian minister and author, how she viewed his words.
Here’s what she said... #RR
Now what’s crazy is, I didn’t know this became a conversation piece. I never saw people saying anything about it. Besides, I think the breakfast club and they said I was crazy or something like that lol
I believe many wouldn't recognize him due to modern skepticism, media, or their own preconceived notions, while others believe his divine nature, love, and truth would become apparent, drawing followers, especially the humble and outcast, much like the disciples initially struggled to know him until he revealed himself in familiar ways, 🤷🏾♂️ I mean, it’s just my thoughts was yours ?

Nah, my brother, you’re not to far off for saying this. I’m not a historical genius or what not, but you’re not crazy for even saying this without thinking. The comparison alone are undeniable, not to mention both of their INTENTIONS in this world. I see a bit of Jesus in Nip, Prodigy, Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., etc.
Many fans viewed Nipsey as a "prophet" or "hood pastor" because of his focus on community building, financial literacy, and peace between rival gangs. Dying at 33 solidified this "messianic" image for his followers. (Celebrity death club theory 33)
